  23. Printing the Documentation:
  24. ===========================
  25. Make sure your printer is on, online, and has paper. SCORCH.DOC takes
  26. about 40 pages. Then type COPY SCORCH.DOC PRN. Then hit Enter, of course.
  27. Or use any program that will print files, such as your favorite word
  28. processor.

  30. VGA note:
  31. =========
  32. Scorched Earth (SCORCH) is a VGA only game. It will not run on any other
  33. type of system.

  36. Fixing Problems:
  37. ================
  38. If you have a problem with SCORCH when changing settings, you can just
  39. delete the SCORCH.CFG file and run SCORCH. It will return to the default
  40. settings. Or, just run FIX.BAT, and it will get rid of the bad SCORCH.CFG
  41. file.
  42.  
  43. DOS 5.0 and QEMM:
  44. =================
  45. In the final stage of development for SCORCH, it was discovered that
  46. variations of DOS 5.0 and QEMM could possibly cause problems with SCORCH.
  47. If this is the case on your system, just remove QEMM for the time during
  48. which you are playing SCORCH. Please notify us, whether you are a
  49. registered user or not, and we will tell you of any fixes or work-arounds,
  50. as they become available. (Try to get service like THAT somewhere else!)

  83. Most of all, Don't forget that Scorched Earth is Shareware. The game is
  84. good, if somewhat addictive. The price is cheap. So why not support the
  85. game, its further development, and the whole shareware concept by sending
  86. in your $10.
